RtP: Star Tropics 2: Zoda's Revenge

This was one my first NES games I have ever beaten. (Even before Contra, although I had COntra at the time). I beat this one before even playing the first one, so while it's a direct sequel to the first, all this mentions is the end of the first one.

Now for why to play this...
1 - Great Gameplay
A typical Chapter in Star Tropics (One or Two) goes like this:
You start on the field screen, figure out where the dungeon is, beat the dungeon, move to the next chapter.
During the dungeon parts, you must avoid traps and kill monsters to go through the rooms. Some doors you open by jumping on tiles to grab a key. Bosses are usually puzzles within themselves.

2 - Great Story
Star Tropics 2 is about finding the missing Tetra pieces (aka the cast of Tetris) scattered throughout time. You visit Caveman days, Egypt and even Camelot. However the alien Zoda (main villain in the firts one... so I guess in this one too) is racing to find them too.

3 - Weapons
Unlike the first one, the YoYo isn't in this one, however he does get one of my fav weapons: The pyshic shock wave. You also get throwing sword weapons and other fun ones.

4 - The Music
This might be number 2 in my top NES music soundtracks, it's great.

5 - Cheap AND long
A lot of NES games suffer for not having lengthy game play, most people that can beat Contra can do it in 15-20 minutes! This game though, like Zelda and Kirby, takes quite a bit of time: even if you master it. Definitely worth the 5 bucks.
